Tolerance eventually leads to withdrawal. The withdrawal process occurs when an individual has a physical and emotional reaction after being denied access to the habit. A person addicted to drugs and alcohol may become hostile when deprived of substances. Likewise, individuals addicted to food or sex may become depressed when access to activities are denied. Persons severely addicted to habits or substances may become ill during the withdrawal process. Such individuals have trained their bodies to become immune to the habit and complete withdrawal may be dangerous.

A hospital is a place which deals with various types of equipments and machines. They have to spend plenty of money to acquire these and the working of each of these saves a patients life if not give them vital treatment. There are equipments which do not work on electricity like the sphygmomanometer which is used to determine the blood pressure of the patient.

Another type of equipment is the stethoscope which is used to hear the breathing of the patient. All these constitute the variety of equipments classified as the bio-medical equipments. Each one has its own purpose and is used to help a person lead a healthy life as is capable of him.

Just because medical personnel wear scrubs most of the time doesn’t mean there’s not some strong personalities hidden beneath those otherwise plain clothes. Sure, colors have been added to the medical staff’s old familiar hue of aqua and white. Now, it’s not uncommon to see a seemingly flamboyant, red clothed body moving down the hallway of a hospital. No, it’s not a clown headed for the children’s section to bring some much needed cheer – it’s just another shade presently available to those medical professionals who want to display a bit of personality.

Doctors spend years studying to arrive at their final destination, with an ability to heal others from what ails them. That doesn’t mean they’re not colorful, lively, interesting people. In fact, many medical careerists are highly creative people, able to think, learn, and improvise on the fly. These skill sets are particularly suited to staff who work in emergency rooms, where fast action, rather than deep contemplation and study, is the thing that saves lives. And so, as the medical profession seems to catch up to other professions in terms of personality displays, the overall appearance may be a bit less sterile than in the past.

Doctors might well be seen with different hairstyles, such as a ponytail on a male doctor, rather than the old standby of closely cropped hair.
